Google glass has no place at the movies
There are many ways one could get in trouble at the movies. However could you get in trouble for wearing glasses to the movies? You could if they happen to be Google glasses. According to Clevvermovies, a man in Ohio was pulled out of a AMC theater after he was caught wearing his prescription Google glasses. The authorities questioned him for hours regarding the issue of movie piracy. Federal authorities were even brought in to question the man. For anyone who is not familiar with Google glass, it’s part of a new technology that allows it’s users to do gain access to the internet, and among it’s many functions is a video recording feature. While this new technology is indeed innovative, the movies is no place to wear it. I mean if you are watching a movie and the person next to you has a red glowing dot sticking out of their shirt, you would want to question them. This piece of technology is way ahead of it’s time but again, prescription or not, it has no place at the movies. This gentlemen happened to learn the hard way. The police ended up letting the man go after realizing he was telling the truth. This goes to show that technology does have a long ways to go in our society.
I would like to close out this blog by asking you the reader a question, what’s your favorite piece of technology? & Is the movie theater a place to bring your technology to? I mean I get yelled t by people just for simply texting. Let me know and leave any comments or suggestions for topics you want me to cover in next weeks blog. Until next time. -Son
